ARSU GmbH Expert report on benthos in the area of the planned new port construction at Bützfleth |
Kiese und Sande Ostsee GmbH Rostock Plausibility check of the biotope mapping regarding the marine gravel-sand deposit "Warnemünde Ost" of 2015 In 2015, the company MariLim GmbH carried out a macrozoobenthos and biotope mapping in the planned gravel mining area "Warnemünde Ost" on behalf of INROS LACKNER SE for the company André Voss Erdbau & Transport GmbH Rostock (Kuhlmann & Meyer 2015). In 2019 this gravel sand deposit was taken over by the company Kiese und Sande Ostsee GmbH. Since the mapping in 2020 was five years ago, it is necessary to check that the database is up to date. Against this background, the company Kiese und Sande Ostsee GmbH commissioned a plausibility check of the database for "Warnemünde Ost". As part of the plausibility check, two sub-areas (approval fields BW I and BW II) are considered. For the company Kiese und Sande Ostsee GmbH, the sub-area BW I is particularly relevant. The sub-area BW II was abandoned due to the results from 2015 and should not be considered further. In the summary of the biotope mapping 2015, the sub-area BW II is included for the sake of completeness, but not included in the plausibility check. When assessing the sub-area BW I, only data from the literature are used. |
