The MariLim staff currently consists of about 20 persons. They held state-approved degrees and additionally qualificatons guided by trainings of the team on a regular basis to guarantee the highest quality of our professional services and reports.
Diving work
Various sampling procedures at MariLim require regular diving work. Therefore, a number of our team members are trained and examined as scientific divers in training organisations approved by employers’ liability insurance association. They meet the requirements of the euopean standard “European Scientific Diver” (ESD).
Personell and equipment allow the parallel use of multiple scientific diving groups. The necessary equipment, e. g. UW-photo and movie cameras, compressors etc. is present in appropriate numbers.
Bodies
Some of our staff are members in various national and international bodies.
These include the group “Qualitätssicherung Biologie” (quaility assurance biology) as part of the “Bund-Länder-Messprogramm” (BLMP; coordinated measurement programme of federal and state authorities) and the participation at the UBA test series.
